The Shambles Bar and Restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere during the day and a popular lively venue at night.

Beautifully converted from the old Burberry Factory by the owners, with exposed original beams and comfortable sofas.  Relax with a drink or enjoy a meal from our menu and soak in the magnificent views of Whitby Harbour.

Proudly featured in the good beer guide 2006, our bar offers an excellent selection of cask conditioned real ales with John Smiths, Copper Dragon, Theakstons XB and Old Peculiar permanently featured through the year accompanied by Guest Ales during the summer.

We also cater for Weddings, functions and conferences and offer a choice of function rooms.  The family room welcomes children till 8pm.  The snooker room where you can book a private snooker session.  The restaurant which offers an intimate atmosphere for smaller parties.  Our friendly team of staff will help with all your requirements to ensure all your needs are catered for.
